Like other food service facilities from coast to coast, food service and concessions at the Kansas City Zoo need to satisfy many different kinds of appetites. That’s why in the spring of 2014 new dining options were added to the park. Working with zoo officials, architects, and the general contractor, Boelter installed equipment and custom fabrication for the Tuxedo Grill, as well as several other concession areas. With their updated equipment, food service workers at the zoo are now able to offer everything from salads and wraps to pizza and macaroni and cheese. All year long, food service at the Kansas City Zoo has something for everyone.
